I took this photo very early in the morning on Saskatchewan's 100th Birthday. Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park straddles the Saskatchewan and Alberta Borders. The scenery is classic prairie the way it was before any Europeans arrived. I took a few photographs earlier but as the sun rose a bit more, the light became golden, resulting in this moment. I had considered cropping out the bottom so that my horizon is not so centered, but decided against it as I like the grass in the foreground. It reminds me of being there at the moment.
